Tennis Squad is a team management app for recreational tennis leagues (ALTA and USTA). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

Account information — Tennis Squad uses Sign in with Apple. When you sign in, we receive:

A unique Apple User ID (an anonymized identifier assigned by Apple)
Your name — only if you choose to share it
Your email address — only if you choose to share it; Apple's private relay is fully supported

Team and player data — Captains and team members may voluntarily enter:

Player names, phone numbers, and email addresses
NTRP skill ratings and court preferences
Match schedules, scores, and results
Availability responses for matches and practices

Usage data — We use Firebase Analytics (Google) to collect anonymized, aggregated usage statistics such as feature usage and crash reports. This data cannot identify you personally.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data solely to:

Authenticate your account securely
Display your team's roster, schedule, and lineup
Generate lineup suggestions based on player attributes
Manage availability polls for your team
Improve app stability and performance

We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your data to any third party.

3. Data Storage and Third Parties

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore), hosted in the United States. Firebase acts as a data processor on our behalf and is subject to Google's privacy policies.

4. Data Sharing

Your profile information (name, phone, email) is visible to other members of your tennis team within the app. It is not shared outside your team or with any third party beyond our infrastructure providers listed above.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at the email below. We will permanently delete your data within 30 days.

You may also remove your player profile from within the app at any time.

6. Children's Privacy

Tennis Squad is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Withdraw consent at any time by deleting the app
